Three steps before we ever knock

A one-day bathroom isn't a faster crew. It's a project that was fully resolved before anyone showed up — which is the entire difference between this and a conventional remodel.

01
In-home design consultation
We bring the actual samples — wall panels, LVT planks, vanity tops, fixture finishes — and lay them out in your bathroom under your lighting. You leave the appointment with a written, fixed price. Not a range, not a "starting at."
02
Technical measure
A second visit to measure the room to the sixteenth: wall dimensions, out-of-plumb and out-of-square conditions, valve and drain locations, door swings, and access. Every panel is cut from these numbers.
03
Order and stage
Nothing is scheduled until every component is physically in hand — panels, base, glass, vanity, LVT, fixtures, and trim. Waiting on a back-ordered vanity is the single most common reason a "one-day" bath turns into three weeks.

Typical timeline from consultation to install day is two to four weeks, driven almost entirely by glass and vanity lead times. If you need a firm date for a move-in, closing, or tenant turnover, tell us at the consultation and we'll build the order around it.

What actually happens, hour by hour

One crew. One continuous sequence. Here's the real schedule for a standard Signature install — so you know exactly what your house looks like at 2 PM.

Day one

7:30 AM · Protect
Path and containment go in first
Floor runners from the door to the bathroom, door jamb and stair protection, plastic dust barrier at the bathroom door, and a HEPA air scrubber running inside. Your house does not become a job site.
8:00 AM · Demo
Old bathroom out
Tub or base, wall surround, vanity, toilet, flooring, and trim removed down to studs and subfloor. Debris is carried out and loaded the same morning — it doesn't sit in your driveway overnight.
10:00 AM · Inspect
The open-wall check
Studs, subfloor, and rim are inspected for rot and mold. This is the one point where a project can change. If we find damage, work stops, we photograph it, and we price the repair before continuing — no silent change orders. Because CAWR self-performs framing and subfloor repair, it gets fixed the same day instead of handed off.
11:00 AM · Rough
Valve, drain, and blocking
New shower valve and trim, drain assembly, and supply connections. Blocking added for grab bars, glass, and the shower bench if your package includes one — it costs almost nothing now and a wall opening later.
12:30 PM · Waterproof
Base set and moisture barrier
Tub or shower base set level in a mortar bed, then substrate and a continuous moisture barrier behind the wall system. This is the layer nobody ever sees and the reason bathrooms fail when it's skipped.
2:00 PM · Walls
Wall system installed
Panels — cut from your technical measure — set, scribed to the room's actual out-of-square conditions, and seam-sealed. Grout-free, so there's no curing wait and nothing to re-grout in five years.
4:00 PM · Floor
LVT down
Subfloor leveled and prepped, then luxury vinyl plank installed wall to wall. Waterproof, warm underfoot, and immediately walkable — no mortar cure, no grout, no overnight stay-off like tile.
5:00 PM · Fixtures
Vanity, top, toilet, trim
Vanity set and secured, countertop and sink installed, faucet and supplies connected, toilet reset on a new wax seal, then mirror, lighting, trim, and accessories.
6:00 PM · Close
Seal, clean, walk it together
Final silicone, containment and protection removed, room cleaned, and a walkthrough with you before the crew leaves. On a one-day Essential install with a framed or sliding door, you're finished here.

Day two — when the glass is frameless

Morning · Template
Glass measured against finished walls
Frameless glass has to be templated against walls that are actually built, not against a drawing. That's why true frameless is a two-day job and why anyone promising frameless in a single day is either pre-cutting and shimming the gap or using a semi-frameless panel and calling it frameless.
Afternoon · Set
Glass hung, hardware set, final punch
Panels and door hung, hardware aligned, silicone applied, and the punch list walked with you. Silicone cures for 24 hours before the shower is used — the only real wait in the whole project.

The honest version: most Essential packages finish in one day. Most Signature packages with frameless glass finish in two. Luxe is a two-day install. We tell you which one yours is at the consultation — in writing — rather than on install morning.

Why panels and LVT instead of tile

This is the question we get most, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a sales one.

Tile cannot be installed in a day. Setting mortar cures, grout cures, and sealing follows — that's a three-to-five-day sequence before anyone showers, and that's if nothing goes wrong. Every fast-install bathroom company in the country, ours included, uses an engineered wall system for exactly this reason.

What that actually buys you

  • No grout lines — nothing to seal annually, nothing to discolor, nothing to re-grout in year five
  • A continuous waterproof surface rather than hundreds of individual joints, each one a potential failure point
  • Scribed to your walls — panels are cut from the technical measure to fit rooms that are genuinely out of square, which most older Chester County and Wilmington bathrooms are
  • LVT flooring that's fully waterproof, warmer and quieter underfoot than tile, forgiving on the subfloor deflection common in older houses, and walkable the moment it's down

And when tile is the right answer: if you want real stone, large-format porcelain, or a fully custom tile shower, we'll build it — as a conventional CAWR renovation on a two-to-four-week schedule, priced honestly. We won't sell you tile inside a one-day promise, because that promise can't be kept.

Beyond the three packages

LuxeDay handles the standard scopes fast. CAWR handles the ones that aren't.

🚿
Tub-to-shower conversion
The most requested LuxeDay project. An unused tub out, a low-threshold walk-in shower in, usually finished in a single day.
🛁
Shower-to-tub conversion
Less common but real — families with young children putting a tub back into a hall bath. Same one-day sequence in reverse.
Aging-in-place
Curbless entries, blocking and grab bars, comfort-height fixtures, and slip-rated LVT that looks intentional rather than clinical.
🏠
Rental and multi-family
Essential pricing across multiple units, scheduled to minimize vacancy days between tenants.
🧱
Custom tile renovation
Real stone and large-format porcelain, built as a conventional renovation on a two-to-four-week schedule.
🔧
Full gut renovation
When the layout changes or the subfloor is failing, CAWR handles it as a conventional renovation — priced honestly, not squeezed into one day.
